February Contest
What You Have to Do
Describe a fun Social Studies lesson, project, or activity that you do with your students.
We're looking for the best Social Studies lessons, projects, or activities ideas out there. The contest isn't too hard to win. Heck, some months we only get a couple dozen entries! Usually we pick a submission that is:
- fun and exciting for students
- educational
- clearly written with a reasonable amount of detail
If you read the past contest winners' entries, you'll have a good idea of what it takes to win.
That's it... tell us about your cool Social Studies lesson and you could be the next winner!
The Prize
$20 Gift Card
for Target or Applebee's (Your choice)
Good luck!
Thaks for your entry. Check back next month to read the submissions.
How to Enter
You can use the form below to submit a description of your favorite Social Studies activity, project, or lesson. If the form isn't working, you can e-mail your lesson idea to the address below. You can also use the e-mail address if you'd like to attach pictures or worksheets (optional).
When you write about your Social Studies activity, please use complete sentences and express yourself as clearly as possible.
Rules
This is a relatively informal contest, so I'll spare you all the legal jargon.
The rules are as follows:
- The contest will end on or about February 28, 2009.
- The winner will be determined by me, the Webmaster of SuperTeacherWorksheets.com.
- Yes, you can enter more than once.
- If two people send in the same idea, and the idea is chosen as the winner, the prize will be sent to the first person who submitted the idea.
- Any entry (even if it does not win) might be published on SuperTeacherWorksheets.com and/or SuperTeacherIdeas.com. We believe in the sharing of ideas. :)
- The winner will be notified by e-mail. If you win, you will need to provide a mailing address so the prize can be sent to your home or school.
- I welcome entries from all over the world, but please note that gift cards are only valid in the United States.
- I respect your privacy and do not share full names, e-mail addresses, or home addresses with anyone. I do post the first name and general location of the winner online. Full names and email addresses will not be shared.
If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me. You can find my contact information below.
