Sixth Grade Spelling List F-12

Unit F-12 consists of irregular plurals. Plural and singular forms are provided to highlight irregular pluralization patterns in cacti (cactus), foci (focus), crises (crisis), hypotheses (hypothesis), larvae (larva), lice (louse), quizzes (quiz), fungi (fungus), tornadoes (tornado), indices (index), vetoes (veto), vertebrae (vertebra), bacteria (bacterium), curricula (curriculum), criteria (criterion), dominoes (domino), calves (calf), nuclei (nucleus), radii (radius), and antennae (antenna).
